Hi, I’m Sara — the founder of Vrouventure.
After moving to the Netherlands from the USA, I found myself searching for two things: connection and adventure. As someone who loves the outdoors, exploring new places, and deep, meaningful friendships, I struggled to find a space where I could meet like-minded women and truly feel part of a community.
So I decided to create one.
Vrouventure is a women-only community built around real-life connection, exploration, and shared experiences based around connecting with nature. Through meetups, day trips, and weekend getaways, we bring women together to discover the Netherlands — and each other — in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment.
